We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team based at our Tralee showroom headquarters.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a national remit, responsible for managing procurement across the bathroom and tile industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management at a senior level, with an in-depth knowledge of bathroom products and industry trends.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
* Source and select suppliers for bathroom products, tiles, and related materials across Ireland and Europe.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings and secure competitive advantages.
* Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to balance product availability with minimising excess stock.
* Identify and track new market trends, innovations, and eco-friendly solutions within the bathroom and tile sector.
* Evaluate supplier performance, product quality, and service levels on an ongoing basis.
* Collaborate with showroom, sales, installation, and warehouse teams to forecast demand and plan procurement.
* Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Manage procurement systems, purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records.
* Participate in supplier audits, product selection for showroom displays, and supplier relationship management.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for procurement activities.
* Resolve supply chain issues promptly to avoid customer impact or project delays.
* Attend national and international trade shows, product seminars, and supplier site visits.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role, preferably at a senior level.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement or inventory management software.
* Strong understanding of bathroom products, fixtures, tiles, and industry trends.
* Ability to manage supplier relationships and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Exceptional planning, organisational, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (2:1 or higher).
* CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification or equivalent.
* Established supplier network within Ireland and Europe.
* Experience in bathrooms, tiles, home improvement, or related sectors.
* Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable product sourcing.
* Understanding of the Irish construction and home improvement market.
* Knowledge of showroom or retail operations.
* Additional European languages (beneficial for dealing with international suppliers).
* Project-based procurement experience.

Schedule:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM).
