I’m looking for a patient music tutor to provide one-on-one lessons for a beginner-to-intermediate student. The focus should be on building basic music theory, proper technique on the piano and/or guitar, and sight-reading. I’d prefer a tutor who can tailor sessions to the student’s interests (pop, classical, or film music) and gradually introduce more challenging pieces. Private lessons should be weekly, structured, and include short practice assignments. Flexibility with times and a friendly, encouraging teaching style are important. Ideally, lessons will be conducted in person in Dublin or nearby, with the option for a few online sessions if needed. A clear plan and progression checkpoints would be appreciated.
