MEP Services Coordinator

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced MEP Services Coordinator to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be based in the Dublin office, with approximately two days per week spent on-site in Longford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated MEP professional with experience working for a main contractor. You will play a key role in coordinating the mechanical and electrical aspects of major construction projects, working closely with site management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all mechanical and electrical services throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates to the Contracts Manager.
Monitor project set‑up, progress, and close‑out activities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Assist in developing project schedules and work breakdown structures.
Manage project budgets, expenditures, and cost control measures.
Maintain project contracts and associated documentation for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure quality management procedures and project specifications are adhered to at all stages.
Support Health & Safety compliance by conducting site inspections, accompanying H&S personnel, and issuing corrective action reports where required.
Coordinate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Identify project risks and assist in the preparation of risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and third‑party contractors.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in an MEP Coordination, Building Services, or similar role, ideally with a main contractor.
Degree, HND/HNC qualification in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or a recognised M&E trade background.
Proven experience coordinating building services packages on construction projects.
Strong understanding of project management principles and construction delivery processes.
Experience working on commercial, educational, healthcare, or large‑scale residential projects is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a proactive approach.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration abilities.
Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and industry best practices.
