About the Role
Orange Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation in the health and life sciences space for a Team Manager - Case & Project Operations.
This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in administration, operations, or regulatory environments who wants to make an impact by ensuring cases and projects are managed smoothly and effectively.
You’ll lead a small team, oversee case and project workflows, manage performance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements that support the organisation’s wider mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, support, and develop a small team to deliver high-quality work.
* Oversee the planning, scheduling, and tracking of cases and projects.
* Monitor performance against targets, reporting on progress and outcomes.
* Act as a subject matter expert on systems, processes, and projects.
* Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with organisational quality and information management standards.
* Represent the team in cross-departmental meetings and external forums when required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* At least 2 years’ experience in administration, case management, or operations.
* Previous team management or supervisory experience.
* Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence working with workflow or information systems (reporting, tracking, analysis).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience in regulatory, healthcare, or public sector environments.
* Project management experience.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
