The Role
We are looking to hire an initiative-taking Electrician to join our in-house maintenance team in Jervis Shopping Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance tasks required in our busy Shopping Centre. The Candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and will report to the Maintenance Manager. Whilst this is a full-time position, we will also consider part-time applications.

Responsibilities
* To conduct PPM Tasks and routines in a timely and efficient manner.
* To conduct small to medium size electrical repairs and installations.
* To conduct routine checks on all systems including but not limited to electrical systems, air conditioning system, HVAC, BMS, Sprinklers and fire alarm systems.
* Ability to plan and carry out works to achieve an efficient & speedy resolution to reactive maintenance issues that arise.
* Assist with documenting maintenance tasks conducted on site.
* Assist with supervision of contractors on site to make sure works conducted safely and in line with relevant standards.
* As part of the in-house maintenance team, the candidate will be required at times to assist in non-electrical duties.
* Candidate will need to be flexible with working hours as not all tasks can be conducted during centre trading hours.
* Contacting suppliers to source and order material if required.
* Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting ability.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience in a Building Maintenance / Facility Management Environment.
* Experience working with a wide range of electrical systems.
* Experience working with HVAC, BMS, Fire Alarm, Back-Up Generators and Sprinkler systems preferred.
* Flexible to meet the needs of a busy Shopping Centre.
* Experience with Email, Word and Excel preferred.
* Safe Pass.
* MEWP Licence.
* Electrical Testing & Verification (Preferred)
