My client is a global leader in asset servicing, supporting investment funds and financial institutions worldwide. They deliver end-to-end solutions across custody, fund administration, depositary, execution, clearing and related services. They are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant on a fixed-term contract, with potential to go permanent.This role offers the opportunity to join a newly created and expanding Private Equity/Real Estate financial reporting team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for preparing and reviewing audited and unaudited financial statements for fund clients, as well as liaising with auditors and managing audit queries within tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements for Private Equity/Real Estate funds in line with GAAP, IFRS and INREV requirements.Manage audits, liaising with auditors, clients, and internal teams to meet deadlines.Extract, analyse and interpret fund financial data to ensure compliance with reporting guidelines.Develop templates, procedures, and controls to improve accuracy and mitigate risk.Collaborate with colleagues internationally and external service providers to deliver (un)audited statements.Keep up to date with regulatory, legislative, and accounting standard changes.Support ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.Skills and Experience RequiredMinimum 6 years’ experience in financial reporting or fund accounting, including audit management and financial statement preparation.Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Proven organisational and time management skills.In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.Detailed understanding of UCITS and/or hedge funds.Solid working knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment.Why Join My Client?My client is progressive, collaborative and growth-focused.
