Accounts Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping initiative and the ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
About the Role
This role requires a professional, mature, and flexible individual with experience in financial, credit control, administration, and personal assistance to management. Previous experience in good company finance practice, including bank reconciliations, creditor and debtor reconciliations, processing customer and supplier invoices, and preparation of ROS/VAT tax returns is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping services for a small team of professionals.
* Bank and Credit Card reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Creditors and Debtors: Supplier and Customer Invoicing.
* Email and Phone Query Handling.
* Preparation of VAT/VIES/PAYE and PRSI returns.
Filing and Management
* Maintain essential paperwork for monthly, bi-monthly company returns in consultation with accountants.
* Organize and maintain filing systems meticulously.
* RCT/PSWT/ROS returns.
* ROS Online Experience, Submissions, My Enquiries.
Requirements
* Excellent timekeeping, punctuality, and ability to adapt to varying tasks.
* Proficient in Bookkeeping and Financial standard practices.
* Accounting Qualification is a distinct advantage.
* Working knowledge of Management Accounts, P&L, Journals & General Ledgers is a plus.
* Preficient with Sage, BrightPay, and ROS portal.
* MS Office Proficiency is a pre-requisite.
* Good typing skills.
