About the Role
The Intermediate Test Manager role shall hold at least 7 years of relevant practical experience working as a tester.
Qualifications:
* Qualification/s: It is a mandatory requirement, that the candidate hold the following qualifications or equivalents: ISTQB Foundation.
Key Deliverables
* Test planning and preparation: Analyse Census test requirements, define test conditions, and create detailed test cases.
* Test execution: Coordinate functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple Census platforms.
* Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
* Collaboration with developers and product teams: Clarify requirements, support triage sessions, and ensure shared understanding of quality expectations.
* Test data creation: Prepare and maintain test data sets to support various test cycles.
* Automation contribution: Support the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable.
* Documentation and reporting: Produce clear test reports, metrics, and evidence for release readiness.
* Continuous improvement: Suggest enhancements to processes, tools, and ways of working.
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies.
* Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
* Ability to write clear, structured test cases and execute them independently.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes.
* Strong communication skills for working with developers, BAs, and product owners.
