Medical Device Manufacturing Facility, Waterford
Role Overview
The Payroll Administrator will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the payroll operations of a busy medical device manufacturing plant (approx. 160 employees) ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration, payroll analysis, financial reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory body requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Running end-to-end payroll processes accurately and on time.
* Calculating all pay and benefits including: worked hours, basic and shift pay rates, holiday pay, SSP, Pension contributions, BIK etc.
* Work collaboratively with the management team for data collection: timesheet signoff, role changes, starters, leavers etc.
* Dealing with employee payroll queries.
* Preparing monthly payroll analysis and accruals.
* Nominal Ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
* Preparing and submitting all statutory returns to Revenue, CSO etc.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
* Support internal and external audit processes.
* Continual improvement and integration of payroll systems and process efficiencies.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
* IPASS qualified.
* Minimum 2 years' experience of all aspects of payroll processing preferably in manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation.
* Sage Payroll experience advantageous.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
* Strong IT System and MS Office applications experience.
Terms & Conditions:
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm.
Location: Onsite Waterford
Probation: 6 months.
Salary: €40,000 to €45,000 depending on qualification level and experience.
