Audit Senior RoleOur client is looking for recently qualified or part qualified accountants to join our firm in our Audit & Compliance department, immediate start.They are seeking to recruit highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic professionals who are looking for a challenging career within a dynamic medium-sized practice based in South County Dublin.Scope of the roleConduct audits in accordance with auditing standards for a broad range of clientsEnsure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframeEstablish and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clientsCarry out statutory audits in a timely, professional and efficient mannerSupervise and train junior staff combined with an ability to direct and review work of less experienced audit team membersReview and prepare financial statementsPrepare taxation computations and complete appropriate forms for submission to the Revenue and CRODirect reporting to manager and partner and providing assistance when requested.Candidate RequirementsAbility to investigate audit issues and arrive at a solution or proposalAn ability to develop and enhance client relationships through excellent communication skills and timely responses to client requestsAbility to multi-task and prioritise workloadKnowledge and ability to work with the main Microsoft Office programs and other accounting packages when requiredKnowledge and ability to work with paperless audit systems; a working knowledge of Caseware would be an advantage but not essential, as training is provided on all IT systems within the firmExcellent attention to detail with an ability to use initiative and maintain confidentiality at all timesPrior practice experience within an Audit teamAbility to work to deadlines and with limited supervisionExperience in supervising junior staff members on audit assignmentsExcellent technical and interpersonal skills
