Role: Quantity Surveyor - ResidentialLocation: Dublin West (onsite)Type: PermanentCompetitve Salary (DOE) & PensionPlease note you must be based in Ireland, and have valid working rights in Ireland to be considered for this position.Parker Stewart are working with a well known property development and management organisation based in Dublin to hire a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis. This position will be onsite at Dublin West locations. The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting across residential developments. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction and a strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and cost control procedures.Key Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for residential projects at various stagesManage procurement processes, including tendering and subcontractor package negotiationsMonitor project expenditure, assess variations, and ensure accurate monthly cost reportingProvide commercial support to project and site teams, ensuring adherence to budgets and contract termsAssist in preparing valuations, final accounts, and post-contract cost analysisRequired Experience & Skills:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally in residential or mixed-use developmentsFamiliarity with Irish construction contracts and cost management best practices.Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.Proficient in relevant software (e.g. Excel, Buildsoft, CostX, or similar)This role comes with a competitive salary and pension contributions, along with excellent career progression opportunities.
