Post Summary
The Student Counselling Services (SCS) comprises Counselling, Student Learning Development (SLD), and Student 2 Student (S2S), supported by a central administrative team. The Service provides psychological therapy, social transition, and academic skills services across the student body, using a stepped care model. SCS contributes to key strategic objectives such as student transition and retention, accessibility, diversity, and internationalisation. Delivering high-quality services requires efficient administrative systems.
Role Details
This is a dynamic, front-facing role responsible for the supervision of the Service’s front office activities and staff. The front office team is the first point of contact for service users via phone, email, or in person. The team also provides first-line administrative support for the Director, clinical staff, and the SLD and S2S teams.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Salary: Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€46,410 - €58,086 per annum), in line with current Government pay policy. Payments are made monthly/weekly. (tcd.ie)
