About the Role:
Muiriosa Foundation seeks a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to experience a self-directed, connected, inclusive, meaningful and fulfilling life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review individual care plans in conjunction with service users, families and colleagues
* Promote independence and community integration through engagement in appropriate community-based activities
* Evaluate health needs and record/report changes as required
* Foster positive relationships with service users, staff members and other relevant personnel
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to lead by example while demonstrating empathy for people experiencing intellectual disability. The role requires active participation in safeguarding policies, and adherence to professional organisational policies procedures.
