Support Worker Role
The role of a Support Worker is to provide care and support to individuals who require assistance with their daily living needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting individuals with their personal care, including bathing, dressing and toileting
* Preparing meals and snacks for individuals
* Providing transportation and accompaniment for appointments and activities
* Engaging in recreational activities and hobbies with individuals
Required skills and qualifications:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and understanding when working with individuals who have complex needs
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals
