Key Account Sales Director Opportunity
We're seeking an accomplished Key Account Sales Director to spearhead commercial growth through informed decision-making, effective coaching, and a sharp focus on metrics that drive success.
This critical role is pivotal to our expansion strategy, with significant numbers at stake: we're growing year-on-year and manage a substantial business across multiple jurisdictions. The results of your decisions will be evident in the data week by week.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding national sales targets, with 3+ years leading field & inside sales teams, ideally 10+ heads. You'll shape a national sales strategy, manage and develop a high-performing team, and translate data into actionable insights.
* Develop data-driven strategies: Convert market intelligence, CRM analytics, and sales data into a clear sales playbook.
* Own the performance scoreboard: Set KPIs, track them in real-time, and course-correct promptly.
* Coach for elite performance: Run a structured development program, ride-alongs, analytics reviews, and skills boot camps for every team member.
* Grow the team: Identify and hire high-potential talent if they can sell, we want them.
* Deepen partnerships: Utilize insight-driven account plans to strengthen loyalty and up-sell our expanding genetics and tech portfolio.
* Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Science, and Operations to align offers and maximize margin.
* Proven record of exceeding national sales targets.
* 3+ years leading field & inside sales teams, ideally 10+ heads.
* Talent magnet: Hire, onboard, retain, inspire.
* Exposure to agriculture, animal health, or life sciences sectors.
* Professional coaching or mentoring qualification.
