About The Role
Claims Adjuster – Motor Bodily Injury. You will handle a portfolio of complex claims from inquiry through legal liability assessment and resolution, mitigating exposure and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
What You Need To Know

Manage key claims handling enquiry; coverage determination, quantum analysis, and legal liability assessment within authority limits while delivering high‑standard customer service.
Collaborate with the Team Manager on effective vendor and litigation management for complex claims within a personal allocation.
Drive continuous improvement of claim file handling through Quality Assurance Review processes.
Maintain best‑practice procedures for bodily injury complex claims in line with global standards.
Demonstrate advanced technical claims competence for moderate‑to‑severe complex claims.
Handle claims within agreed authority limits with timely, accurate, customer‑focused resolution.
Communicate key complex claims messages to internal stakeholders.
Exercise financial control through consistent reserve and transaction discipline.
Apply accurate and consistent policy interpretation.

What We’re Looking For

Specialist knowledge in motor‑bodily injury technical claims topics.
Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, litigation and procedural requirements for the line of business.
Policy wording interpretation skills.
Experience following up on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Personal lines claims handling experience with road traffic accidents / auto liability.
Adjusting experience and formal insurance qualification meeting Central Bank of Ireland competency standards.
Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
