Role SummaryWe are seeking a technically capable, organised and detail-driven Web Developer & eCommerce Migration Support Specialist to assist with the migration of Aran.com from BigCommerce V2 to V3. This is a hands‑on role focused on detailed catalogue work including SKU deduplication, product restructuring, data preparation and testing, alongside the ongoing management of Aran.com (BigCommerce) and WeaversofIreland.com (Shopify).Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Catalogue ManagementAdd and maintain products on BigCommerce and ShopifyConfigure variants, pricing and attributes accuratelyEnsure correct categorisation, filters and product visibilityProcess bulk updates including pricing and availabilitySupport ongoing catalogue maintenanceWebsite Maintenance & Platform SupportMaintain stability and usability across both websitesManage apps, updates and content changesImplement merchandising and promotional updatesMonitor site functionality and report issuesIntegrations & Systems SupportSupport integrations with systems such as Linnworks and PeoplevoxMaintain accurate product mapping and data synchronisationIdentify and resolve discrepancies between systemsTechnical & Administrative SupportMake minor frontend adjustments using BigCommerce Stencil or Shopify Liquid where requiredResolve layout or usability issuesEnsure responsive performance across devicesManage user permissions and platform settingsAssist with testing before updates or releases go liveMigration Support - Aran.com BigCommerce V2 to V3Support product data migration activitiesIdentify duplicate SKUs and carry out catalogue clean‑up and consolidationOrganise products into clear structures with correct variantsValidate pricing across currencies and marketsPrepare and update data using spreadsheets and bulk toolsSupport sandbox testing across product pages, navigation, cart and checkoutLog issues clearly and assist with resolutionPerform quality checks prior to launchRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience working with BigCommerce and/or ShopifyStrong large product catalogue and data management experienceExcellent attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working with large volumes of product dataStrong Excel or Google Sheets skillsHTML/CSS knowledgeLiquid and/or Stencil knowledgeExperience Supporting Website Migrations or Large Data Projects (Preferred)Familiarity with systems such as Linnworks or similar is beneficialAbility to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentStrong communication and problem‑solving skills
