Our client is a leading Irish PLC with a global presence. They are looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join their high performing team finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be sitting in the South Dublin office (hybrid working, 60% in office). The team is responsible for assisting with Business Development and M&A projects and the role provides the opportunity for both international and cross-functional exposure.
This role will suit a high performing and career focused finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Preparation of financial models and due diligence analysis to be used in investment appraisals;
Analyze the performance of existing investments and acquisitions;
Support the Group function in reporting of large-scale M&A transactions;
Preparation of performance briefings for senior management;
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and coordination of other specialists;
On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accounting professional with 3+ years PQE;
Previous experience within a Plc is preferred;
Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
Ambitious, motivated individual with an exceptional attention to detail;
Experience in delivering on tight reporting deadlines.
