Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Firm: Dublin 2 Office Based Position
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in the preparation of legal documents and ensuring the efficient management of files.
Key Responsibilities:
* Typing from dictations: accurately typing letters, emails, and other documents from dictation
* Drafting and editing: drafting and editing legal documents such as letters, contracts, and briefs
* Closing documents: drafting closing documents, including section 72 and Family Home Declarations
* Title requisitions: typing requisitions on title from dictation
* File maintenance: opening and maintaining files on the practice management program and physical storage
* Scheduling deeds: scheduling deeds and managing document copies
* Invoicing: preparing invoices for clients
Requirements:
* Experience: at least some experience in commercial conveyancing is required, with a strong understanding of the conveyancing process
* Organization: excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple files simultaneously
* Attention to detail: a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
* Teamwork: strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
