We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor, working on critical water and infrastructure projects across Ireland. Based at the company’s head office in Carlow, this role involves regular site visits and managing projects from initial design through to handover.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of water and wastewater projects from design through to completion.
* Prepare and manage technical drawings, reports, and calculations.
* Ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
* Supervise site operations, including crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered on time.
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, ideally in a project engineering or management role.
* Previous involvement in water and wastewater infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to coordinate and update technical drawings.
* Strong knowledge of plant design, construction, and commissioning processes.
* Proven ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
