Grade VII Project Manager – Spinal Registry
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this post is to establish, implement, manage, and oversee the Spinal Registry. The successful candidate will lead the development of the Registry, ensure the population of the Registry with quality‑assured data, and manage the required extracts and integrations to operational levels of acceptability. The role will facilitate the design and implementation of impact metrics, ensuring alignment with the project’s overarching goals (e.g., quality improvement) so that its impact can be meaningfully measured and demonstrated. This role also involves drafting and presenting an annual report for the board of Children’s Health Ireland, which will be published on the HSE website, and enabling publication of outcomes research in peer‑reviewed journals.
Essential Criteria
 * Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in health sciences, epidemiology, public health, data management plus 2 years relevant experience, or at least 6 years of experience in a relevant role in healthcare.
 * Previous project‑management experience in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
 * Previous experience supporting grant‑funding applications.
 * Proven ability in report writing and presentation related to project delivery.
 * Significant experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare or academic research environment.
 * Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
 * Strong knowledge of framework for the development and maintenance of registries.
 * Experience in developing PPPGs.
