The RoleAs Night Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests during the overnight hours. You will assist with front-of-house duties, support the Bar Manager with end of night duties and Banqueting team with break down of rooms, and ensure all public areas are clean, secure, and ready for the following day.This role is ideal for a responsible, proactive individual who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional guest service.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a friendly and professional point of contact for guests during night hoursSupport the Bar Manager with operational duties, including guest enquiries and requestsCarry out security and safety checks, including fire walks and CCTV monitoringMaintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, corridors, and entrancesAssist with room inspections, and late guest arrivals/departures as requiredSupport banqueting team with room setups and breakdowns overnightRe setting of Breakfast room for morning after events.Respond promptly and professionally to any incidents, maintenance issues, or guest feedbackEnsure smooth handover to day staff with clear notes and reportsMaintain logbooks and records of all relevant activity during the shiftCandidates must have their own transport as this area is not serviced by public transportJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €14.50-€15.50 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 39 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingExperience:Night porter: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
