Senior Consultant – Asset Management - Consulting AdvisoryWe are seeking a motivated Consultant/Sr. Consultant to join our expanding Consulting team. The role offers a chance to contribute to and support a variety of client engagements, helping drive project team success within the Asset and Project management space. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Asset management within Financial Services sector, helping them optimise asset management processes and improve operational efficiency to drive impactful change across the industry.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver and manage projects across a range of key areas.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with key asset management regulations such as SEC rules, MiFID II, or equivalent regional compliance standards.Stay up-to-date with trends and regulatory changes in asset management and financial services.Understand asset management, banking and financial needs and recommend suitable solutions to meet these needs, providing an exceptional client experience in line with their requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.Prepare comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, Project Plans, Reports, RAID Logs, Status Updates, etc.Participate in workshops, interviews, and data collection exercises with clients.Support Senior Management in overseeing and executing project delivery.Identify growth opportunities and support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.Facilitate workshops to define project scopes and business requirements, ensuring outcomes are documented and shared with relevant stakeholders.Support and drive business development initiatives including the preparation of proposals and tenders for new client opportunities.Work with colleagues to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment in business development efforts.Education and CertificationsA third level degree, with a strong academic record.Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in asset management, financial services, or related consulting roles.Strong understanding of asset management operations, products, and regulatory environment.Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Experience with project management tools or methodologies is a plus.Skills and CompetenciesProject / Programme Management experience delivering high-quality projects with prior experience in a Consulting firm or a professional services environment highly desirable.Broad industry experiences spanning sectors including Financial Services and particularly the Asset Management Industry (asset / investment managers, securities services etc.).Proven track record of successfully supporting end-to-end projects across all stages of the project life cycle.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to professional and client service excellence and developing effective working relationships.Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Experience in supporting Business Development initiatives including crafting and responding to client proposals would be favourable.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.A creative, problem-solving mindset and initiative-driven approach.Equity, Diversity and InclusionAt Grant Thornton, we provide equitable opportunities for all our colleagues.
