Purpose Of The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a General Operative/Product Inspection role for our Potato Pack House, Westpalstown, Oldtown, Co. Dublin. The role involves working on the production line, inspecting and checking the quality of our products in line with company standards. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.
Reporting To: Pack House Manager and Inspection Supervisor
Key Areas Of The Role:
* Working on the Potato inspection line, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast pace environment.
* Rejecting out-of-specification product.
* Ensuring conformance to specifications.
* Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
* Following all Health & Safety procedures and adhering to the company's Safety Statement at all times; identifying any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and reporting them to the Pack House Manager/Supervisor.
* Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
* Sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from the production facility as required.
* General Pack House duties.
Essential Requirements:
* Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays.
* Manual work experience.
* Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
* Good team work skills.
* Good understanding of the English language.
* Excellent work ethic.
