Role

Radisson RED is looking for a Front Office Manager to join our buzzing team. If you’re focused on delivering top-notch service with flair and fun, you will help redefine the front desk experience with us. As Front Office Manager, you’ll be the captain of the front desk, ensuring every guest interaction is smooth, memorable and infused with the Radisson RED spirit. You’ll lead the team, manage daily operations, and ensure guests feel valued from check-in to check-out.

You will juggle multiple tasks, including supervising the front desk team, managing reservations, resolving guest issues, and coordinating with other departments. Your mission is to create a seamless and vibrant guest experience that keeps guests coming back. You’ll bring your energy and expertise to every shift, ensuring a lively, welcoming lobby that is always on point.

Requirements include a proven track record in front office operations, exceptional communication skills, and leadership ability. You should be a proactive problem-solver, a people person, and a hospitality professional who can keep things running smoothly and guests smiling.

Minimum experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in Front Office.

Minimum education requirements: National academic qualifications.


Responsibilities

* Ensure the smooth running of the front office department, delivering the guest journey and experience to the highest level while adhering to property and company standards.
* Lead and collaborate with the team to maximise guest satisfaction and comfort, addressing enquiries and resolving problems promptly.
* Utilise yield management, occupancy and average room rate to maximise rooms revenue.
* Deliver the strategies and objectives of the front office department and take ownership for the front office team.
* Foster a culture of growth, development and performance while promoting the company culture and values.
* Collaborate with the Head of Department to control costs and departmental inventory and achieve productivity targets.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communications and activities.
* Establish and deliver an effective guest engagement programme, including environmental and conservation matters, potentially working with stakeholders on ad hoc projects.
* Ensure adherence to legislation and best practices, with due diligence planning, delivery and documentation for audits.


Competencies & Skills

* Proven experience in a front office manager position, ideally within a hotel
* Ability to adapt to changing service environments
* Strong leadership with a hands-on, lead-by-example style
* Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality
* Creative problem-solving, offering advice and recommendations
* Personal integrity and a drive for excellence
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Open, positive and communicative personality
* Ability to handle multiple priorities
