Document Controller (Construction) Role Overview This role plays a key part in supporting project delivery by ensuring the smooth flow of information and documentation across the construction team.
The Document Controller will manage project documents and databases, support onboarding processes, provide administrative support, and facilitate efficient communication between site team and head office.
Key Duties & Responsibilities ??
Document Control & Administration Data entry and ongoing maintenance of internal project databases.
Set up new site users and manage access rights.
Administer document control platforms Issue, track, and manage project documentation ensuring accuracy and version control.
Prepare project reports, trackers, and PowerPoint presentations.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for project personnel.
Liaise daily with site teams, project management, and support departments.
General administrative tasks including filing, drafting correspondence, and organising project information.
Skills & Experience Required ??
Core Skills Strong IT proficiency: Excel (formulas, tracking, linking), Microsoft Suite, and general database systems.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction project environment.
Comfortable liaising with various departments and supporting multiple project stakeholders.

Highly Desirable Experience using EIDA a digital construction platform that streamlines and connects all project stages from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover.
EIDA centralizes project information and supports efficient management of documents, quality workflows, safety processes, communication, and handover activities.
