Summary
Guidewire is looking for a Dublin‑based Senior People Business Partner to join our People (HR) team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover). This role will partner directly with the executive team as a trusted advisor, business consultant, coach, and change agent. The position will also drive and influence cross‑functional initiatives across the People function that support the ongoing development of our talent and culture at Guidewire.
Responsibilities

Understand and translate business goals into holistic, integrated, measurable talent strategies focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent, and overall business performance.
Bring the EMEA field leadership team together to align on business priorities, culture, and overall needs of the region.
Focus on scale and growth, including strategic planning, talent assessment & calibration, change management, and team effectiveness.
Work globally, helping others understand reasons to implement local nuances.
Use data‑driven diagnostic tools and processes to develop, assess, and monitor solutions that continuously improve organizational effectiveness; address gaps and emerging skills needs through practical action and AI tools.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align our culture and performance with our rewards and reward strategies.
Influence the design and lead execution of innovative talent management strategies to develop world‑class talent, using organizational design models and action planning.
Analyze people data and industry trends; develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives. Lead the functional view for outcomes of annual and quarterly listening insights.
Partner with key business partners (Finance, Legal, and COE partners) to leverage their support in executing HR strategy and business operations.
Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI, empowering teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data‑driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.

Qualifications

Business acumen: Proficient knowledge and direct experience partnering with regional and go‑to‑market teams.
Strategic consultation: Proven ability to develop and execute solutions to business challenges and to influence strategic business decisions.
Relationship management: Ability to collaborate and proactively partner with cross‑functional teams across the globe.
Data judgement: Extensive experience partnering with and influencing executive leaders through data‑driven analytics and strategic consultation.
Talent management: Strategic HR expertise, employee experience management, technological savviness, using best‑in‑class tools such as Workday, Google Workspace, Zoom, and social media tools.
Agility: Not afraid to get scrappy and iterate while building long‑term enterprise solutions.
Global experience representing a region to the U.S. HQ.
Consultation and presentation skills (creating, presenting, and editing) are standard in the business‑partnering role.
Global travel will be required to align with business needs and HR team meetings during the year.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, global, and preferably scaled organization.
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data‑driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Critical Success Factors

Experience representing regional business & people needs to HQ outside of APAC.
Prior experience partnering with a Sales/Go‑To‑Market function preferred.
Comfort with Google Suite of tools, Guidewire products, and Workday.
Certification in team effectiveness tools, executive development models, and frameworks is welcome.
