Joseph Murphy (Ballina) Ltd, are seeking to hire an experienced and professional Procurement Officer to work within their busy and expanding Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning and negotiating skills with the ability to source products, negotiate contracts and coordinate delivery of imports for this role as well as the ability to ensure timely and cost effective acquisition of goods whilst supporting operational efficiency and strategic goals within the business. This role will involve working closely with our Sales and Finance Departments as well as our Goods in and therefore good communication skills are paramount along with working on your own initiative as well as part of the team.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent IT skills including solid comfort with Excel.
Work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
Superb communication and negotiation skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
