Role: Construction Design Manager
Client: Main Contractor
Essentials: Degree or Higher Diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology, 3+ years' experience in residential architecture, strong CAD skills, knowledge of Building Regulations, ability to manage technical aspects of pre-construction design.
Location: Cork
Salary: €55,000-€75,000 DOE

Key responsibilities include:
* Manage and coordinate the design and technical details of their residential projects.
* Assist the Technical Manager in coordinating pre-construction design for houses, duplexes, and apartments.
* Brief and manage consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design standards and budgets.
* Organise and chair design workshops, capturing approvals and actions.
* Develop and maintain design guidance documents to support consistent delivery.
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide buildability input.
* Ensure designs meet building regulations, quality standards, and customer expectations.
