As Finance Officer on the Board, you will provide strategic oversight and financial guidance to support the sustainable growth of the organization. Your assistance will ensure the business remains compliant with all financial governance and charity regulations while delivering maximum impact for our members.
Responsibilities Will Include The Following
1. Provide financial oversight and reporting to the Board.
2. Advise on budgeting, reserves, and financial planning.
3. Ensure compliance with the Charities Regulator and financial legislation.
4. Support the preparation and review of annual accounts and audit processes.
5. Offer guidance on fundraising strategies and financial risk management.
6. Contribute to the strategic direction, providing insight, oversight, and experience in strategy formulation in other sectors.
Who We’re Looking For
* A qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with nonprofit financial management (desirable).
* Strong understanding of charity compliance and financial reporting.
* Ability to contribute strategically and work collaboratively as part of a board.
