Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Officer to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in medical insurance and has excellent communication skills.


About the Role

The role of a Claims Handler involves processing medical claims for clients worldwide. The team ensures a high level of client service while processing claims within an industry leading timeframe.

* Process claims within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adjudicate each claim in accordance with policy benefits to achieve loss ratio targets.
* Ensure accurate and efficient adjudication/investigation of each claim, ensuring timely follow-up of claims, to deliver a superior client experience and accurate reporting.
* Contribute to departmental success by meeting agreed personal and team targets for both productivity and quality.
* Foster healthy inter-departmental relationships by responding to internal customer queries in a professional manner.
* Data Management: Strengthening data management practices will ensure that customer information is handled securely and efficiently, aligning with industry best practices for data protection and privacy.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

* A strong understanding of medical insurance principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in using technology to manage claims and customer data.
