Description
We are seeking a flexible and diligent HR Manager to join our Global HR Team!
The selected candidate will work with the wider management team in Dublin as well as our Corporate HR Team based in Bologna.
HR Manager is responsible for challenging and driving performance across the Irish operation with a major focus on organizational effectiveness, talent management and building future capabilities.
You are both the right hand of local General Manager, Plant Manager and as trusted partner and active member of the Corporate HR Team.
Responsibilities
Provide HR support and guidance to the Plant Manager and General Manager as well as working with the local management team and wider HR Team
Act as a coach to the local management team and ensuring that they are aligned to the company's objectives and are working in alignment with the Plant Manager
Responsibility for all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to; discipline and grievance, dignity at work, performance management and the management of absence
Responsible for employee lifecycle and all actions associated with employees entering and leaving the business
The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring that recruitment and selection is carried out to the highest standard with a focus on filing vacant roles in line with business requirements
Manage all Health and Safety training records to ensure that all statutory training is completed as required
Provide internal people management training based off best practice while simultaneously utilising third party external trainers where required
Work with the management team to ensure that the company's employee development programme is effectively managed through the PDC programme (Performance Development Cycle)
As a key member of the salary review team, you will work with both corporate and local management teams to ensure that the annual salary review process is carried out both lawfully and in line with corporate policy
Ensure that all corporate policies are known and adhered to within the business.
Work with internal audit for completion of all business audits
Complete monthly and annual HR Reports for the General Manager that focus on the following areas; staff turnover and retention, absence management, annual leave accrual, HR budget, general HR update etc.
Ensure that the company's HRIS system is up to date in conjunction with the finance department (prior experience working with time and attendance system is preferable)
Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are up to date and inline with both changes in legislation and best practice
Education and Experience
Third level qualification in HR or HR related field
At least 5 years' experience working in HR (preferably with manufacturing experience)
Knowledge of Irish employment law and experience dealing with both employee relations and industrial relations issues
