Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to the Human Resources Department.
About the Position
You will be responsible for supporting recruitment processes, offering guidance on HR policies, and maintaining and updating the HR Information Management System. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement. You will also contribute to the ongoing strategic development of our HR services to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support fair, confidential, and equitable recruitment and selection processes.
* Maintain efficient administrative systems for recording and storing recruitment and application documents.
* Provide expert HR/ER advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
* Prepare accurate HR reports and data for the HR Director, senior management, and external agencies as required.
* Draft contracts of employment in line with current statutory requirements.
* Update the Core HR system (Personnel and Time) with changes to staff details, contracts, leave, and rosters per SOPs.
* Maintain organised and up-to-date staff records and ensure regular file audits and updates are completed.
* Support the onboarding process by coordinating inductions, ensuring all new starter documentation is completed and compliant.
* Assist in the delivery and communication of HR initiatives, including policy updates, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
Experience/Requirements
* A 3rd level qualification in Human Resources (or related field) with ideally 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR role. CIPD membership is desirable.
* Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, industrial relations, and experience with HR Information Systems and Payroll Systems.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within HR teams and liaise with senior management and stakeholders.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), with experience in CoreHR and/or knowledge of the healthcare sector.
* Results orientated with capacity for responsibility, accountability and individual initiative.
Remuneration Package
Salary: €55,000.00-€60,000.00
