Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial activities of our hotel.
This is an office-based role that requires strong technical bookkeeping expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports. They will also be responsible for handling bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations as well as managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with Irish tax regulations.
A key aspect of this role is supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives by working closely with external accountants and auditors when required. The successful candidate must be able to ensure strong financial controls and adherence to internal procedures while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
