Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Engineer to join our high-performing team. As a key member, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in leading the construction of allocated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Manager in leading project teams.
* Build strong working relationships with the Engineering team and subcontractors.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff.
* Ensure project packages meet specifications, budgets, and timescales.
* Manage systems to track progress against time, quality, dimensions, and quantity.
* Record and test workmanship and materials.
* Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
* A higher-level qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* 5-10 years' experience in a Site Engineer/Site Management role on construction projects.
Skills and Attributes:
* In-depth knowledge of Irish/UK construction standards.
* Ability to liaise with Commercial & Contracts team.
* Technically competent.
* Demonstrable commercial awareness.
* Process orientated and strong attention to detail.
