Background:
Remcoll Modular International is a division of the Remcoll group. The group's mission is to provide homes to the nation and believes everyone has the right to a home. Everyone who works in any part of the business needs to understand that mission and be inspired by the positive impact they can make in someone's life. The group is creating hardworking, passionate team of people who want to make a difference.
Remcoll Modular International contributes to this vision by designing, manufacturing and delivering modular homes, as completed volumetric structures, and smaller functional pods, typically containing a bathroom, which are then installed, by others, into conventionally constructed buildings.
Role purpose:
RMI operates within several key categories of Modern Methods of Construction, including volumetric modular systems (Category 1), panelised structural systems (Category 2), sub-assemblies and components (Category 5), and specialist volumetric pods (Category 3). The design function plays a critical role across these areas, ensuring that all outputs are technically robust, manufacturable, and compliant with regulatory and performance standards. Design responsibilities include interpreting client and master design information, developing coordinated 2D and 3D models, and producing detailed drawings and specifications that support structured procurement and efficient off-site manufacture. This applies across bathroom pods, modular residential units, and panelised building elements. We are seeking a skilled Revit Technician to support this work within our growing modular construction team. The ideal candidate will bring strong Revit expertise, solid technical and regulatory understanding, and the ability to deliver accurate models, drawings, and bills of materials across multiple MMC categories.
