For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.**Job Title**:Test Technician**Reporting To:**Supervisor, Production Test**Work Schedule:**Onsite – Carrigaline, IE**The Job – Key Requirements:*** Use schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test Moog products.* Use a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter's, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.* Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, (analogue, digital, power) to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems consisting of passive components to FPGA's and microprocessors.* Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.* Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.*
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.**Summary of Function and Specific Responsibilities:**The role reports to the Systems Production Supervisor, will support normal production activities as required.**Other responsibilities include:*** Assist in Technician Training, knowledge sharing and Product familiarisation.* Completion of all necessary test related documentation including yield reporting and non-conformance Data. Maintain accurate records of test results and other production-related documentation.* Adherence to all necessary requirements relating to Personal tool maintenance, Antistatic precautions, FOD, Safety and Housekeeping**General Requirements:*** Applicants should possess a minimum level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.* Applicants should have at least two years of experience, preferably in an ISO9001 or equivalent regulated environment.* Experience and/or qualifications in Lean is an advantage* IPC 7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 certifications are an advantage**Personal Attributes:*** The successful candidate will be flexible and able to work to deadlines, within a busy manufacturing environment* Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of an integrated team* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues* Possess good interpersonal and communication skillsMoog Ireland is a leading manufacturer and designer of motion control systems and solutions certified to Aerospace standards.Our products improve reliability, safety and performance in complex applications across a wide range of industries.
