Family Doctor / General Practitioner (GP) – Excellent Opportunity in Cork Woodston Personnel Ltd is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP position with a well regarded rural family practice based in West Cork Applicants must be committed to delivering high quality family medicine and be vocationally trained.
In order to be suitable for the role, you will need to be registered on the MICGP, MRCGP (UK) or MRCGP (INT) with further specialist training in family medicine.
About the GP Practice: Mix of GMS (public) and private patients 1 full-time female GP 1 part-time female GP / 2 Practice Nurses / 3 Medical Secretaries / Practice Manager.
An excellent, fully supporting admin and reception team Fully computerized / Socrates practice management system Parking Responsibilities Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations to assess health needs.
Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions with appropriate care plans.
Perform routine health screenings and preventative care to promote wellness among patients.
Prescribe medications and therapies while educating patients on their proper use.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to discuss patient care and referral options.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote health awareness and disease prevention.
Requirements Must have an interest in men's health Must be registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) Be fluent in the English language (both verbally and written) Have a clear understanding of the IMC Standards and Regulations Have recent relevant experience in family medicine (preferably in Ireland)n.
