Principal Corporate Counsel – Regulatory Affairs
Meet the Team The Regulatory Affairs team within Cisco's Legal department is comprised of lawyers, operational specialists, program managers, engineers, and other experts focused on privacy, global trade, cybersecurity, telecom, environmental sustainability, and various regulatory practice areas. The team's charter is to influence, interpret, and implement evolving and existing regulations that impact Cisco's business and to interact with external partners on these important topics. We partner with colleagues in Legal and functional teams across the company to drive impact.
Your Impact This team is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Corporate Counsel to provide regulatory guidance across a broad spectrum of EMEA environmental, supply chain, and product focused regulations. You will work closely with a wide range of cross‑functional teams, including Sustainability, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Refresh, Legal, Government Affairs, Engineering, Workplace Resources and others. Your work will directly impact Cisco's ability to navigate increasingly complex legal landscapes in environmental sustainability and ensure unrestricted access to EMEA markets.
Monitoring and interpreting applicable EMEA environmental sustainability regulations, standards, and directives such as ROHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS, EPR, ESPR, CSRD, and the EU Batteries Regulation
Driving Cisco's environmental compliance strategy and developing internal processes, policies, and procedures in furtherance of that compliance strategy
Developing and providing training and updates to key stakeholders on regulatory requirements and developments
Collaborating with cross‑functional partners to integrate environmental sustainability compliance implementation requirements into product design and development processes
Partnering with Cisco's Government Affairs team to help influence existing and evolving regulations
Participating and engaging with industry associations
Partnering with colleagues in Legal to respond to regulators and enforcement agencies, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD, or equivalent) in any EU jurisdiction or the UK, with 7+ years' post‑qualification experience in sustainability or related regulatory compliance fields
In‑depth knowledge of relevant environmental sustainability regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage
Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to develop, deliver, and guide effective, efficient regulatory compliance strategies and programs
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience working in or with multinational corporations, preferably in the technology sector
Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry groups
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing AI‑powered tools or intelligence platforms to conduct risk assessments and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to predict and mitigate compliance risks
Excellent skills in written/verbal communication, time management, quantitative/analytical and process documentation

Senior Corporate Counsel – Financial Services Legal Team
About the Role Oracle is seeking an experienced lawyer to join the Financial Services Legal team as Senior Corporate Counsel. This is a new role created in response to developments in the regulatory landscape that affect service providers in the financial services space, such as the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the UK’s Critical Third Party (CTP) regime. In this role, you will provide senior‑level support to Oracle in its compliance journey by helping to design and implement frameworks, policies and processes that will enable the company to meet its obligations under applicable regulations while managing its risk.
Preferred Qualifications
Practicing lawyer with 8‑10 years of relevant post‑qualification experience gained at a top‑tier law firm or in‑house legal department
Expertise in regulatory frameworks that affect services providers to the financial services industry, such as DORA and the UK CTP regime
Experience in dealing with regulators and managing regulatory supervision
Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks
Knowledge of the technology sector

Lead Counsel – International Governance, Meta
Summary Meta is seeking a highly motivated corporate governance lawyer to join our International Governance team. the remit of this team is global, this role will lead the design, alignment, and operationalization of board‑level governance frameworks for Meta’s international entities, with a focus on Irish holding and operating companies and related group entities.
Required Skills
Draft board‑level governance frameworks (particularly relating to emerging regulations), manage cross‑functional alignment and end‑to‑end board approval processes
Partner closely with other legal specialist teams, finance, tax, treasury, risk, compliance, and external counsel to resolve open issues and facilitate board decision‑making
Manage the output of a globally distributed team to ensure timely delivery of corporate governance solutions
Collaborate with the Corporate Responsibility & Non‑Financial Reporting, Finance and other cross‑functional teams on Meta’s global reporting programme
Coordinate director briefings, support entity‑specific audits and periodic evaluations of governance roles and committees
Provide high‑quality corporate legal advice on group‑wide reorganizations and other ad‑hoc projects as required
Minimum Qualifications
Meta requires all employed attorneys to have a law degree or equivalent certificate to permit the practice of law and be appropriately licensed and authorized to practice law for the company in their assigned work location. Unless prohibited under local law, an attorney must hold a current practicing certificate (including where required from the relevant authority in the jurisdiction of the assigned work location) or the local law equivalent bar registration or license as may be applicable
Solicitor permitted to practice in Ireland or the United Kingdom
4+ years post‑qualification experience in corporate, corporate governance, and/or regulatory practice at a leading law firm or in‑house in a multinational environment
Experienced in cross‑functional collaboration with finance, tax, treasury, risk & compliance and external advisors on a wide range of issues such as privacy, financial compliance, intragroup funding, risk management and subsidiary governance
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and having a proactive approach, who can distill complex and novel issues into concise documents for leadership and boards
Experience with quickly and accurately assessing legal, practical and business risks and presenting this advice succinctly and at speed
Preferred Qualifications
Post‑graduate governance qualification and/or associate membership of a recognized governance institute (e.g., Chartered Secretary)
Experience building and operationalizing board‑level governance frameworks – translating new legal obligations into regulated/quasi‑regulated contexts
Project management skills (trackers, timelines, stakeholder alignment) across globally distributed teams
Experience in high‑growth tech, telco or fintech industries
