Our client, a leading entertainment technology provider, is seeking a hands‑on Field Services IT Technician to join their team. This role will suit a technically‑minded individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with electronics, and ensuring complex systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain state‑of‑the‑art arcade and casino gaming machines, ensuring consistent uptime and reliability.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across PC‑based systems and electronic components.
* Technical Support: Provide on‑site technical assistance to operational teams, ensuring any system faults are resolved quickly and effectively.
* Workshop Management: Maintain and manage spare parts, stock, and tools to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
* Continuous Improvement: Keep accurate service records, identify recurring faults, and suggest improvements to prevent future issues.
* Health & Safety: Adhere to all company and regulatory safety standards in the workshop and on‑site.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in IT hardware repair (PCs, consoles, laptops, or similar) or a relevant qualification in electronics or IT.
* Strong soldering and component‑replacement skills.
* Proven ability to fault‑find and repair electronic or IT systems.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Full, clean driver’s licence and access to own transport.
