Role: Reach Truck & Forklift Operative Salary: €14.50-€15.50 Duration: Contract Location: Dublin South Hours: Monday to Friday Reach Truck & Forklift Operative Industry leader is seeking a Warehouse Operative with an in-date counterbalance license and reach truck certificate. This excellent opportunity offers a potential immediate start for the right candidate, stable hours, no weekend work, and a location accessible by public transport. Your main responsibilities will involve operating both the reach truck and counterbalance forklift as well as taking part in various warehouse activities. You will operate the counterbalance forklift to assist with loading material for dispatch and use the reach truck to assist in picking activities. You will also be required to assist in general warehouse duties such as packing products for dispatch, assisting with stock control tasks and maintain the warehouse/yard to the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities: Operate counterbalance forklifts safely to load and unload material (experience required). Use the reach truck for tasks such as put-away, replenishments and moving stock to designated areas of the warehouse. Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages. Comply with the companies Health and safety policies. Ensure the yard and warehouse is maintained to the companies standards. Support the overall efficiency of the warehouse by performing tasks as assigned by the supervisor such as picking, packing, working in both inbound and outbound sections. Requirements: Valid reach truck cert mandatory In date counterbalance license and a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation. Manual Handling Certificate Required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience working in the transport and logistics industry is preferred. Capable of lifting heavy items and performing manual labour tasks as required.
