Senior Electrical Project Engineer
A senior-level electrical design role delivering complex projects across the energy and industrial sectors.
The position covers full lifecycle delivery from concept through construction and commissioning, working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with regular client and site interaction.

Hyperscale & Colocation Data Centres – HV/MV infrastructure, substations, redundancy and resilience
Grid & Power Infrastructure – substations, grid connections, and utility interfaces
Energy & Sustainability Projects – renewables integration, BESS, and energy optimisation for mission-critical facilities
Experience Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
7+ years' experience delivering complex electrical projects
Strong background in energy, power infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical projects
Chartered status advantageous but not essential
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design delivery on large-scale projects
MV/LV distribution and substation design (AIS/GIS)
Power systems studies (load flow, short circuit, protection)
Grid connections and renewable integration (PV, wind, BESS)
Technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
Site support, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to design standards
Technical Skills
MV/LV systems, substations, protection & control
Earthing/grounding, HV & underground cabling
Familiarity with Irish & international standards
AutoCAD essential; power systems tools an advantage
