Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our store.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective performance at all times.

2. Drive sales growth in your department by implementing innovative strategies and techniques.
\
3. Maintain excellent relationships with staff members at all levels, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
\
4. Ensure customer service levels meet the highest standards, providing exceptional experiences for every customer.
\
5. Enforce company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
\
6. Communicate clearly and effectively with all staff members, ensuring they understand and implement operating standards.
\
7. Maintain the highest standard of store presentation, merchandising, and visual displays.
\
8. Manage stock-taking processes, achieving weekly targets and maintaining accurate records.
\
9. Monitor department overheads, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with business requirements.
\
10. Review and manage staff rotas, balancing operational needs with labour costs.
\
11. Conduct regular staff appraisals, identifying areas for development and supporting career progression.
\
12. Promote Health and Safety initiatives, ensuring compliance and record-keeping is up to date.
\
13. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the team.

14. Identify and develop opportunities for growth and development, aligning individual goals with business objectives.
\
15. Sustain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive issue resolution.
\
16. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
\
17. Embody the values and principles of our organization, modelling behaviour that inspires and motivates others.
\
18. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying knowledge to drive business success.

19. Maintain accurate records and reports, providing timely and actionable insights to inform decision-making.
