JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of the Revenue Growth Manager is to identify the optimum way to drive sustainable profitable growth, delivering on our sales, market share, and margin expansion goals.
Working with market-leading brands such as Red Bull, the successful candidate will demonstrate thought leadership in both strategy and execution, collaborating across channels, commercial, field sales, finance, and category teams to drive business improvements. The role will focus on creating and implementing effective commercial plans from initial concept through to full execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Investment:
Lead the management of trade spend by identifying and prioritising high-impact opportunities, overseeing conditionality, and rigorously evaluating effectiveness. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability in trade spend across the sales team, ensuring robust governance for customer investments through data-driven insights.
Collaborate with National Account and Finance teams to structure joint business plans and trade terms. Proactively challenge and optimise implementation and conditionality, focusing on continuous performance improvement to drive revenue and margin growth.
Price & Promotion Management & Optimisation:
Develop and lead competitive and share winning pricing & promo & CPI strategies. Ensure stringent evaluation and optimisation for key investments / promotions / forecasting.
Commercial Planning:
Develop a market leading commercial playbook that combines the needs of our brands, customers and consumers to build leading market share in our categories.
Define the relevant Must Win Battles and growth drivers across our portfolio and categories. Working cross functionally to manage deviations in the plan at all levels in the P&L, identifying opportunities to ensure we achieve our revenue, margin, and market share ambitions.
Category Expertise
Develop deep expertise in category, consumer, and customer dynamics across both your customer base and the brands you represent. Consistently make commercial decisions informed by proactively gathered and available insights. Develop our RGM scorecard to ensure we are tracking initiatives and delivering on our commitments.
Keep track of the competitive landscape, consumer trends, and macroeconomic factors. Utilize this intelligence to adjust growth strategies as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Extensive sales and customer management experience in a retail / wholesale channel or in commercial finance / strategic consulting role.
* Strong understanding of the FMCG Industry essential.
* Understands and uses relevant evaluation/return on investments metrics.
* Highly proficient in excel, BI, IRI, Nielsen, PowerPoint.
* Strong leadership skills. The ability to engage and lead the business in the need for change and drive action.
* Entrepreneur mentality – Analytical mindset, someone with the ability to translate data into insights and action across 4p's (Price, Promotion, Product, Placement).
* Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills. Excellent collaborator with a strength in influential leadership, using storytelling to convey messages to peers and well as senior management.
* High level of commercial acumen and excellent relationship building skills.
* Degree in a business-related area (relevant experience may qualify).
