About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic team at RCSI. This is a fully funded, 2-year position in lung cancer research based at RCSI Education and Research Building at Beaumont Hospital.
The Key Responsibilities of this Role:
* Investigate novel targets for the treatment of brain metastasis in NSCLC
* Develop ex vivo models for the study of brain metastasis
* Career out research related to the project aims
The Requirements for this Role:
* A BSc or Master's degree in relevant discipline
* A PhD in any discipline related to cancer biology
* Some relevant recent research experience
* Previous experience and competence with molecular biology techniques (in particular flow cytometry and cell culture)
* Sufficient breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in cancer biology and of research methods
