Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals in line with company standards
Assisting with menu planning and development
Supervising and guiding kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
Ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
Covering for the Head Chef in their absence
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Passion for fresh, high-quality food
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility and a proactive attitude
