Are you seeking opportunities in the public sector that offer fulfilling projects while maintaining an excellent work-life balance? Our clients are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work with their Capital and Estates team in Dublin, Galway, Midlands, South East, and Cork.
This is a 1-year rolling contract role with great opportunities for further extension and future permanency.
The Capital and Estates department provides a range of professional, technical, project management, property, Fire & Safety, and related services concerning the procurement, development, operation, and maintenance of the health service’s physical infrastructure – including buildings, plant, and equipment. These services include design, specification, project management, supervision, and procurement related to major and minor capital building and refurbishment works, infrastructural risk and asset management, property services, fire, health and safety issues, energy, and sustainability.

Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will oversee the design, installation, and activation of electrical systems necessary to support WiFi infrastructure upgrades across healthcare projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient and effective installation of data points, contributing to improved connectivity and patient care.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree (level 8) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or site-based work.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
* Stamp 4 / EU Passport is required for this role.
