Overview
Inside Sales Executive to support our team and Area Business Managers throughout Ireland. The role involves a mix of lead generation and account management, working with customers in conjunction with the Area Business Managers. Reports to the Office Support Manager.
Responsibilities
* Dealing with customers by phone and email, discussing, selecting and specifying appropriate product to meet the customer’s requirements.
* Proactively identifying new potential customers and contacting existing and new customers by phone to determine potential requirements and close sales.
* Assessing customer requirements through proactive interaction and product knowledge.
* Responding professionally and in appropriate detail to requests for quotations.
* Liaising with colleagues to obtain pricing, quotations and proposals to meet customer requirements.
* Following up enquiries from Area Business Managers and preparing proposals to meet these enquiries.
* Logging enquiries on the sales system (HubSpot), proactively following up with customers and sales representatives, and keeping the sales enquiry database up to date.
* Visiting customers occasionally and as required.
* Ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile
* 2 years’ experience in an Inside Sales role would be desired.
* Knowledge of at least one of the following markets: Automotive, Commercial, Agricultural, Construction or Industrial markets would be advantageous.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and an organised individual.
* Ability to learn and retain technical information.
