Fire Safety Leadership Role
Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fire safety initiatives and ensure the highest standards of protection for patients, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement proactive fire prevention strategies and emergency response plans.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff on fire safety matters.
* Conduct regular fire safety inspections and audits to guarantee compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential fire risks within the hospital environment.
* Nurture relationships with external partners to stay abreast of best practices in fire safety.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fire safety management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification.
* Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) membership or equivalent accreditation.
