€75,000 basic plus €10,000 Bonus and a car allowance of €7500
A leading provider of laboratory services is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to support the growth of its medical device testing, consultancy, and packaging services across Ireland. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building client relationships and driving strategic business development in the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
•Identify and secure new business opportunities in the Irish medical device market.
•Manage and expand existing client accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
•Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customised testing and consultancy solutions.
•Provide market insights and client feedback to inform strategic planning.
•Assist in preparing proposals and commercial agreements.
•Use CRM tools to track sales activities and client interactions.
•Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
The ideal candidate for the Business Development Executive role will have:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or related field).
•3+ years' experience in sales or business development within medical devices, biotech, or pharma.
•Solid understanding of medical device regulations (ISO, GLP).
•Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive business growth.
•Strong communication, networking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50% travel expected).
